Tab Title

The hull is vinylester resin utilizing S-glass and Kevlar in addition to E-glass conventional laminates, providing exceptional puncture resistance. Finish is Awlgrip with gold leaf cove stripe. The deck structure is traditional Cape George – laminated Port Orford cedar and Honduras mahogany beams and plywood subdeck with Teak Deck Systems (no mechanical fasteners) bonded teak decks. House sides are laminated plywood sheathed with a thick teak overlay.

The divergence from tradition starts with the spars: mast, boom, bowsprit and spinnaker pole are carbon fiber, faux painted to look like wood. Rigging is 316 alloy rod rigging secured via Hayn turnbuckles to grade 5 titanium chainplates.  Reckmann 24 vdc electric furlers control the staysail and jib. Mainsail utilizes conventional  slab reefing.  All sails by Hasse & Co., Port Townsend Sails.

Auxilliary propulsion is provided by an 18 kw twin rotor electric motor of 144 vdc.

Power to it is supplied by two banks of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO) batteries charged by a dedicated on demand actuated 22kw Panda turbo diesel genset as well as 110v or 220v worldwide shore power inputs.  Cross chargers support house demands in 24 vdc, 12 vec and a 6 kw inverter 220 vac for the custom Force Ten electric range. A dedicated 24 vdc bank forward provides power to the Lighthouse windlass, Reckmann furlers, and Sleipner bow thruster.

The house electrical system utilizes C-Zone canbus network controls throughout. Climate control is regulated by a Webasto diesel hydronic heat system and a Hammond A/C unit.

Navigation electronics are B&G.  For a complete list of equipment and details please contact us.  For additional photos and videos please refer to Yachtworld listing:
